If you are a regular reader of my Friday Lingerie series then Kriss Soonik will need no introduction. A beautiful mix of lingerie and luxe loungewear, Soonik’s collections mix her Nordic minimalism with a hefty dose of New York cool and Parisian chic. Signatures from the brand include her suspender top and triangle lace bra – the latter has been brought back a rainbow of colours for 2014; all seven colours of lace Soonik has worked with over the years - to celebrate the brand turning five years old.
For SS14 Soonik uses electric blue, cream and white for her line of bodysuits, cover ups, and lace bra and brief sets with signature bows and ruffles all perfectly placed. My favourites from the new line are the Elva bodysuit (image two, right) – I never found a halterneck design I didn’t like because it accentuates the shoulders in a super sexy way – and the Susan lace knickers (image four, left) which are just too beautifully frilly to cover up.
Named as one of Britain’s ‘Cool Brands‘ for 2013/14 and featuring in countless fashion magazines, you can’t be a true lingerie affectionado without some Kriss Soonik in your closet.
